WHAT IS HYDRADERMABRASION?
A hydradermabrasion facial is a revolutionary, medical grade procedure that uses non-invasive water and serums to simultaneously exfoliate and hydrate the skin. Considered to be a newer form of microdermabrasion, this minimally invasive procedure is becoming more and more popular for those looking to achieve perfect, radiant skin.
The main advantage hydradermabrasion has over microdermabrasion is the fact that it is much less invasive. Microdermabrasion involves using microcrystals or diamond particles to buff and exfoliate the top layer of skin which can prove to be overly uncomfortable for those with sensitive or dry skin. It can also have adverse effects for these skin types such as tender or red skin.
With hydrodermabrasion machine, the treatment is much gentler. Because the procedure has an added aspect of hydration, patients can avoid the post-treatment redness, dryness or tenderness that may come with microdermabrasion. This makes it also suitable for all skin types from I- VI, including dry skin and mature skin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Hydradermabrasion is performed by a hydra dermabrasion machine. These devices use a 3 step process to give you glowing, radiant skin.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Our Customized Hydradermabrasion Facial starts with steam, double cleanse and gly-sal wash, followed by diamond tipped wand to exfoliate and extract microcomodones and finished with antioxidant enriched serums and skin boosters to treat, hydrate and protect with ELTA MD, mineral based SPF 46+. DELUXE HYDRA GLOW FACIAL includes Dermaplaning and can be incorporated into this luxury skin care ritual. Other Add On's: Esthimax Hydro Jelly Mask and LED can be added for additional benefits.
STEP 1 - CLEANSE & EXFOLIATE
First we steam, remove makeup and double cleanse, followed by a Gentle exfoliation with the device’s applicator which opens pores and removes dead skin cells, helping brand new skin resurface.
STEP 2 - CLEANSE & EXTRACT
Deep cleaning suction along with deeply penetrating active antioxidant and vitamin rich ingredients are used to loosen and extract dirt and debris from deep within the skin, leaving it clean and optimal for effective solution absorption.
STEP 3 - HYDRATE AND PROTECT
The suction simultaneously infuses an antioxidant rich solution into the skin with anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties promoting elasticity and hydration and preventing post-procedure redness or dryness. Finally, ELTA MD sunscreen, mineral based SFP 46+ is applied.
HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM MICRODERMABRASION? Microdermabrasion uses diamond microcrystals to exfoliate the skin’s top layer and clear out the pores. The procedure features a handheld applicator with a brush or abrasive surface to get rid of impurities and dead skin cells.
Comfort levels vary; microdermabrasion can be slightly uncomfortable for some. The procedure does not hurt, but your skin may be a little tender and red. It is safest and most effective when done by professionals, instead of purchasing a DIY kit and doing the treatment at home.

WHAT IS ACNE?
Acne is definitely a four-letter word for people who suffer with it. It is an inherited disorder of the pores – pores that want to sludge up with dead skin cells much like a clogged drain in your sink. Normal pores shed about one layer of dead skin cells per day inside the pore. The acne-prone pore sheds up to five layers of dead skin cells per day and the body just can’t keep up. This forms congestion under the skin which are noninflamed acne lesions (blackheads and/or whiteheads; and if bacteria are present (which just loves to feed on the dead skin cells and oil), you will get inflamed pimples, pustules and/or cysts.
There are two main types of acne as we see it – noninflamed acne and inflamed acne. Most people have a combination of the two.
HOW TO GET RID OF ACNE!
You cannot cure acne, but you can have clear skin if you know what you are doing. There are a few key concepts that you need to know to get your skin clear and get rid of acne.
You need to use the right acne products for your type of acne. A product that is good for inflamed acne (pimples, pustules, and cysts) will not be good for noninflamed acne (blackheads and whiteheads).
You need these products to be strong enough for your type of skin. If they are not, your skin will not change much. If they are too strong, you will irritate and dehydrate your skin; and you will still break out.
You need to use these products in the right way. It takes strong products to get acne under control, but if you use too much too soon, you will irritate and dehydrate your skin. You must start slowly with strong products.
You need to account for skin adaptation. What does this mean? This means you cannot allow your skin to get too “used” to products. If you do, then your skin will stop responding and not get clear. It takes adjusting your skincare regimen routinely.
Does this all sound like a tricky business? Yes, no doubt that it is.
These are the main reasons you need an acne expert to guide you in the process of getting your skin clear. We know what it takes to get and keep your skin clear. Get rid of acne once and for all!
THE SECRET TO MANAGING ACNE!
Sorry to tell you, one cannot possibly get their skin clear in just 3 days (or overnight) because of this fact:
Acne takes up to 30 to 90 days to form. A pimple that you see today probably started as a microcomedone up to three months ago.
It takes about three to four months to see your skin clear up. Three months’ worth of acne is going to surface, even when you are using the perfect acne regimen. That regimen is keeping the NEW acne from forming, so you won’t see them surface three months from now. So, just because you are seeing some breakouts doesn’t mean that your regimen (if you are on the right set of products) isn’t working.
Some ingredients that a skincare professional might recommend are:
Benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria and removes extra oil.
Resorcinol is for whiteheads and blackheads.
Salicylic acid keeps pores from getting clogged.
Sulfur removes dead skin cells.
Spironolactone blocks excess hormone.
IN OFFICE SKIN CARE TREATMENTS.
Acne can be treated successfully with Professionally administered chemical peels and deep cleansing hydra glow (hydrademabrasion) facials as well as microneedling, RF microneedling and light-based services in a combination customized for your skin type.
The acne facial is an alternative treatment designed to treat the root cause of acne with minimal side effects. Acne facials focus primarily on extractions for blocked pores. The extraction process releases any excess build-up of oil and cleans out dirt that might be clogging up your pores.
Acne facials work best for people with comedonal acne, the type characterized by blackheads. If you primarily have comedones or other non-inflammatory blemishes, facials can usually help improve the skin’s appearance.

WHAT IS DERMPLANING? Dermaplaning is an innovative approach to removing dead skin cells, allowing a jump start for skin renewal and infusion of nutrients. It is a simple and safe procedure using a sterile blade for exfoliating the top layer of the skin and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). This treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance.
At Renew Image, our dermaplaning facial includes a therapeutic mask to calm, hydrate, and peptides to rejuvenate the skin.
Dermaplanning is a great treatment to offer to those who are pregnant or nursing.
*It can be combined with a aesthetic grade peel for a deeper treatment.
*Suitable for all skin types
WHAT DOES IT TREAT?
Unwanted Hair
* Dry Skin
* Poor Skin Texture
WHAT TO EXPECT?
• Dermaplaning is a simple, easy, painless, non-invasive manual skin exfoliation treatment.
• Treatment includes cleansing and preparing the skin for the manual exfoliation process. Then an anti-aging eye treatment, moisturizer, and sunblock are applied.
• The dermaplaning treatment takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.
• This treatment can be performed at any time of the year on all skin types and there is no discomfort with this treatment.
• Normal activities may be resumed immediately.
AFTER CARE:
• The skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure, so an SPF of 50 or higher is required for a minimum of the first 2 weeks.
• Many clients see results after their first treatment, noticing better skin clarity, clearer pores, softer skin, and reduce fine lines.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
If I remove my facial hair will it grow back darker and thicker?
The answer is NO. There are two types of hair on the human body, terminal and vellus hair. Terminal hairs are the thick pigmented hairs that grow by the influence of hormones (legs, armpits, scalp, pubic area, etc). Vellus hairs are fine translucent hairs usually found on a woman’s face, back, or chest. Unlike terminal hairs, when vellus hairs are cut they grow back with the same thickness and length as before, only with a blunt tip, and are expected to return in approximately two to four weeks post-procedure. Removal of vellus hair and dead skin cells allow for the proper penetration of other facial products, increasing their efficacy and ultimately their results.
HOW OFTEN?
Dermaplaning removes about 2-3 weeks of dead skin cells, so in order for your skin to complete its normal skin cycle, approximately 30 days, the treatments should be done about once a month.
What’s the difference between shaving and Dermaplaning?
People often think that they are one and the same. They are not. Dermaplaning is performed by trained Medical Esthetic Professionals using a surgical scalpel on tautly stretched skin. Most razors have two blades that are much duller than a surgical blade. Dermaplaning requires short strokes at a certain angle in particular patterns depending on the facial region and resurfaces skin on a much deeper and more effective level than shaving.
IS IT SAFE?
Dermaplaning is a safe and effective way of exfoliating the epidermis and removing unwanted vellus hair (peach fuzz) on the face. The results will leave your skin glowing and refreshed!

WHAT IS AN HERBAL CHEMICAL PEEL?
An herbal chemical peel for the face is a procedure in which a plant based phyto-chemical solution containing antioxidants and vitamins is applied to the skin to remove damaged skin cells, treat wrinkles and correct scars and sunspot discolorations.
Chemical peels contain different types of acids that have varying depths of skin penetration. There are many options depending on your needs and how sensitive your skin is.
WHAT CAN IT TREAT?
Chemical Peels deeply exfoliate and improve signs of aging such as fine lines, acne, rough texture and brown spots.
WHAT TYPES OF CHEMICAL PEELS DO YOU OFFER?
Light Chemical Peel
Medium Chemical Peel
Deep Epidermal Jessner's Plus Antioxidant
TCA Glycolic Antioxidant
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Chemical peeling is done in a dedicated office room with appropriate lighting and ventilation. You will be lying down in a supine position, and your eyes will be closed for the procedure with appropriate eye protection.
A neutral paste may be applied in areas around your eyes, nose and mouth to prevent the chemical peeling solution from pooling in those areas. For deeper peels, a hand held fan may be given right before the procedure to reduce discomfort.
The application method may be different depending on the chosen peeling agent. Liquid solutions may be applied using a brush, cotton tip applicator, or gauze swab. For gels, usually, a wooden or plastic spatula is used. The peeling agent is first applied to areas with thicker skin, such as the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. It is then spread to the other areas of the face using firm, even strokes in the same direction.
You may feel some mild tenderness while the chemical peel is on your skin. Upon completion of the procedure, a neutralizing wash or cool compress may be used on the face.
AFTER CARE:
After a chemical peel, your skin will be likely red and appear irritated. Deeper chemical peels may result in increased redness and swelling. It is also normal to feel some continued burning or stinging. A protective ointment such as petroleum jelly can be applied to soothe the area, and symptoms should begin to resolve within one to two weeks.
Makeup can usually be worn the next day for light peels, and after a week for medium peels. It may take a few months for the skin to fully return to normal and show complete results of the peel. Recommendations such as routine cleansing, moisturizing and sun exposure minimization will help prolong the results of the chemical peel.

Skin Renewal 1 - Designer Peels® Light Exfoliation (Stratum Corneum) – Designed to show immediate improvement in skin challenges resulting in a healthier-acting, younger-looking, radiant complexion – with no disruption to patients’ social schedules.
Skin Renewal 2 - Designer Peels® Medium Exfoliation (Stratum Granulosum) – Designed to show immediate improvement; however, best results are generally seen after about 3 days. This skin renewal process may cause the skin to shed its outer dead layer resulting in more dramatic results for skin challenges, thereby promoting healthier-acting, younger-looking skin.
Skin Renewal 3 - Superficial Designer Peels® (Basal Layer) – Designed to provide complete epidermal rejuvenation in approximately 7 days. During this skin renewal process patients’ skin generally eliminates most damaged and dysfunctional skin cells from the epidermis. This will cause stimulation and migration of new skin cells throughout the epidermis resulting in new, fresher, healthier-acting, younger-looking skin.
Skin Renewal 4 - Medium Depth Designer Peels® (Papillary Dermis) – This medical peel is designed to eliminate damaged and dysfunctional skin cells of the epidermis and papillary dermis. In addition, it stimulates the skin’s own repair mechanisms to regenerate collagen and elastin in the dermis thereby firming the skin and diminishing wrinkles and scars.

WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?
Dermapen® Microneedling with Esthemax® EGF and HA Skin Booster (Epidermal Growth Factor and Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster) stimulates collagen and rejuvenates your skin through the process of a biological function that stimulates fibroblast activity. EGF and HA Skin Booster is added to further boost the rejuvenation effects.
Microneedling or collagen induction therapy rejuvenates the skin by using the body’s natural rejuvenation abilities in a process known as controlled wound healing to produce new daughter cells by the process of mitosis.
WE LOVE MICRONEEDLING BECAUSE:
WHAT ARE GROWTH FACTORS?
Growth factors are responsible for the repair of damaged skin, providing healing and restoring firmness and elasticity by promoting the formation of elastin and collagen. By adding natural growth factors to microneedling treatment, the growth factors are penetrated deeper into the skin to initiate healing.
WHAT IS BB GLOW?
BB Glow is a minimally invasive and non-surgical procedure that uses a highly effective tinted pigment, applied by using a nano-needle or microneedle to penetrate the skin. It stimulates skin rejuvenation and collagen production. The BB glow serum adds nutrients as well as your desired colour to your skin.
The treatment leads to fewer freckles, brighter and radiant skin, reduced skin discolouration, even skin tone, and fewer wrinkles and fine lines. It is a form of semi-permanent makeup that can last up to half a year with the proper number of treatments and aftercare.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
After cleansing and numbing for 30 minutes to minimize any discomfort, the Microneedling procedure includes using medical-grade needles gently over the skin. Small punctures in the skin, or micro-wounds are created. The micro-wounds stimulate healing processes, and increases the production of collagen and elastin.
WILL I HAVE RECOVERY TIME AFTER MY NATURAL GROWTH FACTOR INJECTIONS MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?
Everyone heals differently. Most patients experience swelling and redness two to four days after the microneedling procedure. The skin may become dryer for the following two weeks, however makeup my be applied 24 to 48 hours after the treatment.
HOW MANY MICRONEEDLING SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Depending on your individual goals and your skin’s health, we typically recommend multiple treatments. Most patients undergo three procedures separated by four weeks, but we will create a customized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT WITH NATURAL GROWTH FACTORS?
Do not apply anything to the skin for 24 hours post-treatment. Expect redness and/or swelling, which will resolve within 1-2 day following treatment. After 24 hours, you may use a gentle cleanser and your daily SPF. Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks after treatment, but always use sunscreen as part of your daily skincare routine.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATES FOR THIS TREATMENT?
Good candidates for micro needling would be anyone interested in a minimally invasive treatment for scars, wrinkles, or hyperpigmentation. Can be performed on all skin colors and all year round with proper sun protection unlike chemical peels.

WHAT IS PROFHILO?
Profhilo is an FDA approved injectable skin remodelling treatment that is used for its subtle but immediate hydrating and skin tightening results.
The product has won multiple aesthetics awards and is loved by beauty editors and celebrity facialists the world over due to its almost-instant and long-lasting results.
WHAT IS PROFHILO USED FOR?
The treatment targets skin that lacks volume and elasticity, making it ideal for anyone over the age of 30 who is experiencing some skin laxity, crepe-like skin or fine lines and wrinkles.
Although it’s most commonly used on the under eye area and face, it can also work well on the neck, décolleté, arms, knees and hands.
After Profhilo treatment, you will notice that your skin looks and feels smoother, firmer, more hydrated and radiant. In fact, your skin quality should improve for up to six months.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
The product contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) on the market but it isn’t a dermal filler (which is the aesthetic treatment most associated with HA) or a wrinkle-relaxing injection.
Instead, Profhilo might be best described as a “bio-remodeller” in that it stimulates natural healing processes within your body. The treatment works in two phases, hydrating your skin and then stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin (a process known as neocollagenesis).
As you may already know, HA is a naturally-occurring substance in our skin, joints and connective tissues. It holds 1000 times its weight in water and its primary roles are to retain and bind moisture to the skin and to aid collagen production. This is what Profhilo taps into.
HOW IS PROFHILO DIFFERENT TO HA-BASED DERMAL FILLERS?
Without going too deeply into the science here, the ingredients in Profhilo are thermally-bonded (i.e. using heat) rather than chemically-bonded, which is how dermal fillers are made.
This process changes the composition and use of the HA, making it perfect for hydrating the skin rather than filling smaller areas.
As a result, Profhilo offers a runnier, gel-like substance that – when injected – smoothly spreads out and is absorbed within a 2cm radius of the injection site. It doesn’t need to be massaged or leave lumps or nodules.
Due to each injection covering a larger surface area, you would typically need just 10 injections with ultra-fine needles to treat your entire face.
IS PROFHILO SAFE TO USE?
As HA occurs naturally in the human body and the product doesn’t use any synthetic chemicals, Profhilo is effortlessly metabolised, causing no known long-term side effects.
In the short-term, the only known side effects are that a small percentage of people experience bruising, redness or swelling at the injection sites but this self-corrects within a couple of days.
DOES THAT MEAN THAT ANYONE CAN HAVE THE TREATMENT?
As with most injectable treatments, we would recommend that you don’t have a Profhilo treatment if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
Also, it should be avoided if you are allergic to hyaluronic acid.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE AND HOW LONG DO THE PROFHILO RESULTS LAST?
A Profhilo treatment only takes between 10 and 30 minutes to administer. Our Certified Aesthetic Nurse needs to inject just below your skin’s surface at approximately 10 points in your face to administer the product to the whole area.
Other parts of your body such as your hands, neck or décolleté may need a different amount.
You should notice that your skin starts to look more hydrated and luminous within just three to five days. Over the following few weeks, Profhilo will start to stimulate your skin’s collagen and elastin production, creating a gentle skin tightening effect.
You will need a second treatment four weeks after treatment one. The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen two months after that second treatment and should last for approximately six months. You can then choose to have a follow-up treatment with Profhilo to maintain the results.
DOES PROFHILO REQUIRE ANY DOWNTIME?
The downtime with Profhilo is minimal. After approximately 30 minutes here at Renew Image, you should be able to return to your normal ‘light’ activities, including driving.
We do recommend that you avoid wearing make-up for 24 hours and that you take a day off from strenuous physical exercise, such as visiting the gym or playing your favourite sport.
Avoid saunas or a steamy bath, as well as intense sun of UV light, for three to four days.
CAN PROFHILO ACHIEVE A NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT?
A Profhilo treatment will gently lift and tighten loose skin; the effect it creates is subtle, natural-looking but transformative. It isn’t as drastic as a surgical facelift by any means but fans of Profhilo enjoy how radiant, smooth and hydrated it makes their skin look and feel.
One of the many benefits of Profhilo is that it can be used on its own or in conjunction with other aesthetics treatments such as dermal fillers, laser treatments or wrinkle-relaxing injections.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS AND WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS?
You’ll see results after 3 to 6 months. The exact time frame depends on the type and severity of your condition.
In most cases, you’ll need at least four sessions. This also depends on what you’re treating. For example, if you have moderate acne scars, you’ll need about three or four treatments. Bigger scars might need five treatments.
These sessions will be done every 3 to 8 weeks. This lets your skin heal between treatments.
After the initial set of treatments, the results will last about 1 year. It’s recommended to have a touch-up session once a year to maintain your desired results.

One of the most noticeable signs of aging can be fine lines and wrinkles. Neurotoxins like Botox® are created from bacteria, specifically the botulinum toxin. Neurotoxins can be injected into specific muscles using very fine needles to help correct and prevent fine lines and wrinkles on the face. The toxin works by preventing the body’s nerve signals from reaching the muscles. This prevents you from making exaggerated facial expressions and stopping the contractions and movements that play a major role in the development of fine lines and wrinkles. The whole procedure can be done in 30 minutes and downtime is minimal to none.

WHAT IS SCLEROTHERAPY?
Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure whereby a chemical, the sclerosant, is injected into a vein to entirely obliterate it. The sclerosant damages the innermost lining of the vessel (the endothelium), resulting in a clot that blocks the blood circulation in the vein beyond. Veins carry unoxygenated blood from the peripheral tissues back to the heart. Since the venous blood pressure in the veins is low, the blood is pumped by forward by contractions of the heart. To prevent back-flow, most veins have valves that only allow blood only to flow in the direction of the heart. When these valves become incompetent, veins become enlarged and bulging (varicose). Smaller veins that feed these varicose veins can also become enlarged and appear as red or blue spider veins in the skin. Varicose veins can lead to a chronic swelling condition of the leg called venous insufficiency. Venous insufficiency predisposes a person to swelling, blood clots, and skin ulceration. Even more frequently, damaged veins are manifested as unsightly spider veins. The destruction of these types of veins can be desirable both medically and cosmetically.

However, when sudden changes happen, the skin copes by producing less collagen and disordered fibers that appear as long discolored streaks. They are commonly seen in areas like the thighs, upper arms, breasts, buttocks, and abdomen.
Both men and women can develop stretch marks. These marks are commonly tied to physical changes like puberty, weight gain, rapid weight loss, and pregnancy. Although it is something that everyone experiences, people are eager to erase stretch marks for personal reasons.
That’s why dermatologists and aestheticians everywhere are developing effective treatments to get rid of stretch marks. And among the many solutions available, microneedling is one of the most effective procedures on the market today.

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure to create fuller more defined brows specifically tailored to each client. A stylist uses a pen-like tool to create small individual strokes in your skin. After pigment is added, these strokes mimic natural hairs. Microblading is perfect for those who are looking to enhance their brow density, or change their eyebrow shape.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING COMBO BROW
Combo brows are a combination of microblading and powder brows (shading). There are microblading hair-like strokes from the beginning to the middle of the brow to give the brow a natural look, which then transitions to a powdered effect to the body and tail of the brow to give the brow more fullness and density.
We also offer Nano Microblading
a more permanent solution of applying microblading strokes that replicate eyebrow hairs for those who are oily or mature and do not retain microblading alone!
BEFORE YOUR SERVICE
The result of microblading is directly linked to the health of the skin underlying your brows. Help us create the perfect conditions for the best results by AVOIDING the following:
PLEASE DO:
THE APPOINTMENT
Your first appointment will take approximately two hours from start to finish. Your specialist will consult with you on design, shape and color prior to completing the treatment and will send you off with all you need to know to support the healing process.
THE HEALING PROCESS AND AFTERCARE
Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the procedure followed by:
INITIAL AFTERCARE
14 DAYS POST TREATMENT PLEASE AVOID:
SIX WEEK PERFECTING SESSION
Your six to eight week touch up is an opportunity for your specialist to answer any questions you have and make any adjustments needed. This touch up is complimentary, lasts an hour and a half and is a great opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have or make adjustments after you’ve lived in your brows for a while. We want to make sure you’re happy and your brows are perfect.
IS MICROBLADING THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU?
What makes microblading unique from brow tattooing is the levels and placement of the pigment being more shallow. This results in a more natural appearance. Because microblading strokes are fine, they will fade, most often between one to three years, varying from client to client.
" Is it painful?".......Some clients report small levels of discomfort, but this is rare and depends on each individual. For each appointment, we build 30 minutes of anesthetic processing time to make sure you are protected from too much discomfort.
WHEN WE WON'T SERVICE YOUR BROWS:
If you are pregnant. We just do not want to risk an infection when you are carrying something so precious. Come and see us to put some pep in your step once your bundle has arrived and you are done breastfeeding.
You are prone to keloids. We want your brows to heal nicely and patients prone to keloids could end up with keloids being a central focus on your face. Also, the color is less likely to stick, both things we all want to avoid.
You are undergoing chemotherapy or have within the past six months. Call us once six months have passed and your immunity is robust.
You have dark pre-existing eyebrow tattoo or permanent makeup.
WE DO OFFER BAD PERMANENT MAKEUP CORRECTION AND REMOVAL TREATMENT!
Microblading requires we are able to simulate individual hairs, if the brows are too dark this wouldn't be possible. In some cases, a consultation may be performed to assess the situation.
You have any kind of skin condition on or near your eyebrows. Some skin conditions include eczema, shingles, rashes, or anything else near your eyebrows.
You are under the age of 18. SF Microblading does not perform any services on people under 18, even with parental consent.

WHAT IS PERMANENT EYELINER?
Permanent eyeliner is a PMU (permanent makeup) treatment that involves using a specialised tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line to replicate the look of eyeliner. The treatment, also known as an eyeliner tattoo, can be applied in a variety of styles, including larger strong wings, light lash enhancements, or smokey looks in many colours.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Many people opt for a permanent eyeliner treatment because it adds definition to the lash line – which can be great for those who have lost their lashes or want a subtle enhancement. Alternatively, a bolder eyeliner look can save time for those with busy lifestyles and looks great for holidays – no more smudged eye makeup! The treatment is very popular with clients who may struggle to create symmetry in their makeup due to shaky hands or loss of vision.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT STYLES?
The most commonly requested styles are:
Artists may refer to permanent eyeliner styles differently, so it is always best to have a thorough consultation – and don’t be afraid to bring inspiration photos!
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Permanent eyeliner can last between 3-5 years. This can change depending on age, lifestyle, skin type, etc. As with all PMU, it is recommended that you have a colour boost every 18 months to keep your liner looking fresh.
HOW MUCH DOES PERMANENT EYELINER COST?
The average cost of a permanent eyeliner tattoo is $399 to $1,200. The cost of a permanent eyeliner treatment differs by artist and clinics, so make sure to check the pricing when you book.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A TREATMENT?
Firstly, the area will be numbed using a topical cream. Then you will consult with your artist about your chosen style and colour of liner – there’s lots of choices when it comes to colours for permanent eyeliner, from black, blue, green, and even purple! Once you have decided this, your artist will map out your liner design using a pencil – this will allow you to make any amendments to your style before it gets tattooed on.
Once you have agreed on a style and colour, you artist will begin tattooing. They use body safe pigments and machines designed especially for treatments in this delicate area. During the process your eyelids will be numbed with a second topical cream, helping you to avoid any possible pain.
Once the treatment is over, you artist will perform an eye bath – this is when your eyes are flushed with sterile water in order to cleanse the eye of any residual ink or debris from the treatment. Once this is done, your artist will go over your aftercare and send you on your way!
DOES IT HURT?
Permanent eyeliner tattoos do not hurt. Most clients report a tickling sensation due to movement of the eyelashes, however thanks to continuous application of numbing in the area, there should be no pain.
IS PERMANENT EYELINER SAFE?
Permanent eyeliner is perfectly safe. It is a technique that now has decades of expertise behind it, and permanent cosmetic specialists are very qualified and educated in the entire process. The wetline of the eyes and the corners are never tattooed, and the eyes are closed for the majority of the treatment.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR PERMANENT EYELINER?
There may be some discomfort and swelling in the area for the first 24 hours, however this is totally normal and will reduce if you follow the correct aftercare advice. Do not wear any eye makeup for 1 week and avoid rubbing the eye area during the healing process (4 weeks). Keep the area dry for around 5 days, and apply soothing balm as recommended by your artist.
As with other PMU treatments, it will appear that the pigment fades, however this is part of the skin healing, and the pigment will push back up to its full color at around the 4 week mark. You’ll be due for a retouch appointment around 4-6 weeks after your first treatment to fill any gaps and make any tweaks.

WHAT IS LIP BLUSHING?
Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results.
How does lip blushing compare to popular lip fillers like Juvederm® and Restylane®?
Lip fillers are a gel made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that’s found naturally in your skin. The gel is injected into your lips. It’s easy to control the outcome of how full you want your lips to look.
With fillers, some are very thin like water, others are very stiff like Jell-O™. Depending on what people’s goals are, we determine which product is best for them.
Lip blushing enhances your lip color and creates an illusion of bigger lips without adding volume, while lip fillers add volume, but not color.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Some estimates say lip blushing can last about two years, but results can vary from person to person. Sun exposure and smoking can speed up how quickly your color fades.
Lip blushing is something that would need to be repeated at certain intervals to maintain the results.
But if you aren’t happy with the results, since it’s a semi-permanent tattoo, the results are hard to reverse.
Lip blushing isn’t covered by insurance. Services can cost between $500 to $1,500 per session, but it all depends on where you live.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Unlike a regular tattoo that uses a needle to deposit ink, lip blushing uses a tiny blade to make cuts into your skin. Ink is deposited into each cut.
You can add a layer of color at a time until you reach your desired results. It’s typically done in numerous sessions until you get the results you want.
Lip blushing is usually performed by a licensed permanent cosmetic specialist or aesthetician.
The pain level has been described as minimal. A topical anesthetic is typically applied for about 20 minutes to numb your lips. Then, the technician draws the shape of what you want your lips to look like.
You can enhance your cupid’s bow or make your lips look more symmetrical. A lot of times, ink will be deposited into the sides of lips, as those areas tend to lose their natural color as you age. Your technician will walk through what they plan to do and you can make any changes or adjustments before they begin.
After the procedure, which should take about an hour, you may experience swelling, redness and potential bruising.
You can use ice or a cold compress to help reduce swelling. Avoid smoking, and if you have a history of cold sores, make sure you disclose that to your technician beforehand.
There’s a small chance of an infection. Keep your lips clean and don’t pick at any scabs. Make sure you follow whatever aftercare instructions you receive. It may take up to four weeks to see the final results.
IS LIP BLUSHING SAFE?
Anytime you get a tattoo, there are some potential risks. You may be allergic to the tattoo dye, especially since it’s typically a variation of red.
“Red is one of the most common allergenic tattoo colors,” says Dr. Khetarpal. “With lips being pink or red, when you’re depositing that color, there’s a risk of an allergic reaction.”
And since tiny cuts are made to deposit color, there’s also a risk of creating scar tissue.
Lip blushing may be good for those who are concerned about the color of their lips or if they have uneven pigmentation they’d like to fix.
But it pays to do your homework. We suggest having a consultation with the permanent cosmetic artist or esthetician beforehand.
Ask about cleaning techniques and their sterilization process,” she advises. Ask how many lip blushing treatments they’ve done and look at before and after photos. You want to make sure you like their style and that it’s going to give you the natural results you want.

WHAT IS LASH LIF AND TINT?
There can often be confusion over what a lash lift is. In simple terms, it is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment. It is designed to boost the curl pattern of your own lashes and provide you with the classic no-makeup makeup look.
But how does it work? A lash lift is a chemical process that curls your lashes. Unlike lash extensions, this type of lash enhancement only works with your natural lash length. There are no faux lashes involved in this procedure.
That’s the best part about a lash lift. This cosmetic treatment boosts one of your natural features to its fullest potential.
If you are already comfortable with cosmetic treatments, then the process will seem familiar to you. If not, then think about a lash lift as a hair perming appointment for your eyelashes.
A lash lift is carried out in a similar fashion as an eyelash extension appointment.
THE PROCESS:
Each phase is given special attention and involves a number of chemicals. Your first lash lift experience should be carried out by a professional who knows how to handle the lash lift chemical properly.
Getting to know the lash lift process doesn’t have to be complicated. Keep reading to uncover the secrets of the lash lift process.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The lash process begins by preparing your lashes to endure the chemicals that are about to be placed on them.
Deep conditioning your lashes before you arrive at the salon is a great way to keep your lashes healthy after the treatment.
When the lash artist preps your lashes they will use either a conditioning treatment, a bonding agent or both.
Before any chemicals are applied, you will have a thorough discussion about the lash lift process. If your eyes are sensitive to stimulation then be mindful of that before the appointment.
For example, you could wear glasses if you normally wear contacts and bring eye drops to keep your eyes hydrated.
Once you have a good understanding of what’s going on, you will be asked to lie down on a sanitized surface. This process may remind you of an eyebrow waxing or threading treatment. It is carried out in a very similar way.
Your eyes will remain closed for the entire procedure. In fact, silicone pads will be placed on top of your eyelids so opening them isn’t something you’ll want to do.
After you are in a comfortable position, your lash artist will place the silicone pads on your eyelids. Then, she will prepare your lashes. It’s important that your lashes are clean before they apply any bonding agents.
If your lash artist conditions your lashes first then she will clean them after. The perming agent that she applies is safe for your face but you should still try your best to remain still.
The perming agent varies by product lines, salons, and the preference of your lash artist. Make sure you discuss any allergy concerns you may have with your lash artist before the procedure begins.
Your lash artist will be able to tell you the ingredients of their perming solution to make sure that there are no conflicts.
The lash perming agent is what is responsible for achieving your desired curl pattern. It is important to note that different perming agent formulas and lash compositions can react differently from client to client.
Since there are no lash extentions involved, your curl pattern results can vary on your natural lash length.
However, stronger perming agents can create a deeper curl. If you have short stubborn lashes then consider discussing perming agent strength with your lash artist.
Keep in mind that a stronger perming agent can mean more damage to your lashes. Lash lifts, if done professionally, can provide little to no damage to your natural lashes.
The amount of damage that will affect your lashes depends on how long the solution was left on your lashes, the quality of the chemicals and how will you take care of your lash lift after the procedure.
After your lash lift appointment, your lash artist will discuss how you should care for your lashes. The next 2 days following your appointment are important for how long your lash lift will last.
Your lash lift needs to remain dry and clean for the next 48 hours. That means no direct contact with water or sweat!
If you follow all of the aftercare instructions properly, you can expect to maintain your lash lift for over 6 weeks. Expert lash lift clients can make their lash lift last over 8 weeks.

WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL TEETH WHITENING?
Professional Dental Grade Teeth Whitening Treatment is non-sensitizing and whitens up to eight shades in 1 Hr session
30 Min Touch ups
THE PROCESS:
The technician will first record the shade of your teeth. This is to get an idea about the degree to which your teeth have to be whitened. It will also help the technician to figure out how concentrated the whitening solution has to be to get that shade.
The technician will then give you a pumice cloth to clean and polish your teeth. The whitening agent is best absorbed by a dry surface, and thus, your technician may even keep a gauze pad in your mouth for some while.
Cleaning your teeth also helps in getting rid of any existing plaque from your teeth, before whitening. The technician will then show you how to place a retractor in your mouth to keep your gums, tongue, and lips from interfering with the whitening agent.
Hydrogen peroxide solution, which is the best bleaching agent known for teeth whitening will be used to coat your teeth. The frontal side of your teeth will be coated, while the posterior side will be left out. This is because the purpose of whitening your teeth is just to improve the aesthetics of your smile, and the backside of your teeth doesn’t show no matter how wide you smile!
The solution temporarily opens up the pores in your teeth, penetrating them and fighting off the stains from within to whiten your teeth. The coating would stay on your teeth for nearly half an hour before the technician decides to proceed to the next step.
Your mouth will then be rinsed, thoroughly. This is to get rid of any residue of the solution. Do not be surprised if the dentist decides to brush your teeth as well. This is probably because the next step involves fluoride treatment!
Your teeth will finally be brushed with fluoride varnish. Fluoride is given to keep the shine of your teeth and sustain the whiteness you’ve just achieved. Besides, fluoride also helps in getting rid of any existing plaque in your mouth, since they work as a catalyst in staining your teeth! And that’s all with the whitening process! The ADA warns that there might be a little bit of temporary sensitivity after teeth whitening. However, it goes away in no time!
Want to sustain that whiteness for a long time to come? Generally, it doesn’t last longer than 6 months. However, keep away from coffee, smoking, and starchy foods, just to name a few to elongate the life of the whiteness in your teeth!
