I am a beginner and have no experience or former licensure? Can I attend your courses?

Absolutely! Yes, we train licensed medical professionals and estheticians in advanced skin and body care services, but we are also a Board Licensed Micropigmentation/Permanent Cosmetics Academy and can train unlicensed individuals in the art of permanent cosmetics. Please be advised, we are not a beauty school or college and therefore, we do not offer an esthetician or nursing degree. We can help you become a Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Specialist/ Permanent Makeup Artist which is a separate licensure and is overseen by the board of health. In this way we serve career changers or any other individual who is artistic and passionate about learning how to succeed in the $34 billion dollar med spa beauty industry! Permanent makeup artists, estheticians, physicians and nurses who attend our training courses go on to work in med spas, doctors' offices or in their own private practices alongside other aesthetic professionals. Even during a pandemic, the medical spa industry experienced rapid growth due to the phenomena of Zoom calls drawing attention to the way individuals see themselves! The average hourly wage of a proficient Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Specialist is $100 plus per hour. According to The American Medical Spa Association, the average income for those who own their own spa is $120,000 per year. Aesthetic Nurses make an average of $75,000 to $100,000 per year! 

Our programs are NOT only One Day. Our courses are considered Hybrid Courses. Our in person One Day courses are considered clinicals or hands-on practicals, however, you will be required to read and study course materials prior to coming to your hands-on clinical (and you must practice after your clinicals to become proficient). The more you practice the faster you will move from a beginner to an expert! If you are a licensed professional, we expect that you have a basic understanding of the skin, wound healing, and bloodborne pathogens etc., that are required to take our courses and practice legally and safely. When you register for any class, we will email you all training materials and other information you must read prior to class, you can print these if you wish but it is not necessary. Remember, no one is expected to do perfect work after one day of hands-on clinical training, we expect that you will continue to practice the tools given to you until you master your skills. 

Unlike other training providers, we customize all courses to your specific needs and schedule. All courses and appointments are scheduled Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm for your convenience. A credit card registration fee is required to reserve your date with us. The registration fee goes toward your tuition and is non-refundable. Our instructors will also email your training manual or reading materials and call or email you with any special instructions you may need before class. Most classes are one day and average study time prior to hands on clinical is one day to two days at your pace. We also offer Business Consulting for those who are interested in starting their own Spa or Med Spa for an additional charge.

Yes! We do provide supplies to practice in class and manuals are included in your tuition price. We charge for high quality one-on-one or small group education that is required for you to practice safely and legally and there are no hidden fees or uncharge for these supplies! After your academic consultation you will register for your course and pay the deposit to reserve your class date, we will send you an email with reading materials. The reading will need to be read prior to your coming to class and is your virtual portion of the class. The day or days in class are considered your hands-on clinical. We do not mail hard copies of manuals or course materials because many of our students come from out of town and need to get the reading as soon as possible. 

Before your course we will discuss where and how you can purchase quality, affordable and FDA cleared equipment. We work closely with our partners, medical Aesthetic companies, who can further help you source them for the best price. Details, supply lists and vendor lists will be given during class. You will be given information in class regarding how to order consumables like needle cartridges, hydradermabrasion serums and back bar products as well as how to set up accounts to purchase Botulinum Toxin and Filler.

We understand emergencies happen and special circumstances are an issue. We require a minimum of five business days to cancel or reschedule a booking. No refunds are ever given for booking deposits or course fees to hold your place in class. Intellectual learning material will be sent out prior to your course dates. You can, however, apply the booking deposit to a future class date when you can reschedule, and the deposit goes towards your course. The deposit is nontransferable and cannot be given to another person in your place. Please read our Terms of Use for more information.

You will be required to arrange one or two models for your live, hands-on portion clinical. It is usually easier to perform a service on someone you know. If you are taking a one-day class your model should arrive at 11am and the model will be expected to stay as late as 3pm. If for some reason you cannot arrange your own model, we will with one week notice, arrange one for you for an additional $99. We charge a fee because it takes time to prequalify and book models. Models get good results and no need to worry! They are under the direct supervision of highly trained instructors as well as the best hands! Yours! All filler and Botox models will be charged for the cost of product used only.

You will be working in a clinical setting, and we suggest the following:  Dress in scrubs or professional attire, bring a note pad and pen. Please bring snacks and lunch, oftentimes class runs into lunch so we can not guarantee a long break. Beverages and snacks are available. We are conveniently located 1/2 mile from many restaurants and fine dining. 

We are a nationally recognized body of training center and you will receive board recognized certificates of attendance with your instructor and medical director endorsement. If you are a licensed professional and your board requires that you receive additional training and certification to perform these services under your own scope of practice, as soon as you leave our course you are legally permitted to perform these services. We recommend you get professional liability insurance and make sure you are covered before performing services. If you are taking our permanent cosmetics courses, such as microblading or scalp micro pigmentation, you will receive your certificate of training and be able to legally perform the services after you receive a permit from the health board to operate. We provide insurance and business start up information as well as details to help you obtain your license. We also provide affordable insurance company recommendations during class. We do not offer continuing education hours for licensed professionals. Please check with your respective state boards for more information on continuing education requirements.
