Heather Hunt, BS, Licensed Skin Care Specialist, National Medical Aesthetic Laser Trainer, Founder 

 Heather has a passion for making people feel more beautiful, confident and empowered. Heather has over twenty-five years of experience in the health, beauty and medical aesthetic laser sales industry. Her love of science combined with a natural artistic talent led her to science-based skin care. Heather grew up in a small town and worked in her family's business. From an early age this is where she learned a hard work ethic, the art of entrepreneurship and serving people. As she left her small town to attend college in the city, she never lost the love of serving community and building lasting relationships.  After graduation, Heather went on to become a Licensed Skin Care Specialist and worked with some of the top physicians in the Greater Cincinnati area and found her love of teaching others to make a livelihood for themselves. Ms. Hunt has trained 1000's of professionals in permanent cosmetics and professional skin care, as well as helped many open their own spas and medical spa practices. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics, from The University of Cincinnati, Allied Health Department in 2000. She took courses in business management and marketing which helped her open her first location, a full-service med spa in 2001. She was inducted into the Kappa Omicron Nu, Honors Society for High Honors. During her time at the University of Cincinnati, she worked for the Dean of Math and Science Department as a research assistant, helping the department collect data to obtain grants. Heather was also an English tutor for the university, and this is where she says she gained a real love of teaching and helping others succeed. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree, she decided to make a career for herself in the medical aesthetic sales industry. She traveled the country as a sales manager, offering training on medical aesthetic equipment for Advanced Aesthetic Lasers, Inc., (UBS Aesthetics) and Mattioli Engineering Company, to spas, plastic surgeons, dermatologist and training hospitals such as Case Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio, Northwestern Memorial in Chicago Illinois and Christ Hospital Med Spa, Cincinnati Ohio.  During this time, she attended many medical aesthetic and spa conferences around the country including, Miami Florida and Las Vegas Nevada in which she educated and demonstrated to professionals on these devices. She was admitted to the University of Cincinnati Graduate Pharmacy School, Cosmetic Science Program and audited courses in skin science to gain a better understanding of the function of cosmetics on the skin. Then in 2001, newly married, she wanted to settle down and start a family and opened her first salon and medical spa in Cincinnati Ohio, which since then grew into two locations under the name Renew Image, Salon & Medi Spa. In 2011 the business opened its second location, a 6,000 square foot Luxury Med Spa near Kenwood and Indian Hill, Ohio. She and her husband partnered with an age restricted community which included over four hundred independent, assisted living and skilled care units. From 2011 to 2015, Heather created the medical spa menu and provided services that were a major selling point for the residents who would decide to live there as well as to the surrounding Kenwood and Indian Hill public. Heather built the salon and medical spa up from fifteen clients to over three thousand clients in the time she ran the two locations. In 2015, she saw a need for advanced training in the industry and she decided to pivot, refocus and relocate the company to the West Chester Liberty Township, Ohio location providing training programs to other beauty and health care professionals. Over the twenty years in business Renew Image, has been featured in many local and national industry magazines for best body and beauty services. Heather has been featured by local news channels as an image and wellness expert representing brands such as Saks 5th Avenue, La Mer and Lancome. Most recently, Renew Image was featured in SKIN DEEP Magazine for 'Top Advanced Training Centers in the Nation', and Heather was featured as an 'Industry Influencer' by The Associated Skin Care Professionals. Heather also received her 100 Hour Fundamental Permanent Cosmetic Specialist Certification, and went on to receive advanced training in Microblading, Areola Repigmentation and Scalp Micropigmentation. Heather is a national trainer for DermMicro and teaches advanced micro pigmentation techniques. A National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) CNC, certified nutrition coach, physique and body building coach and certified body contouring specialist and national trainer. Heather, now at the age of fifty-four, considers herself a lifelong fitness enthusiast and has competed and taken home trophies in several national fitness competitions. This diverse and well-rounded background in business management and sales, beauty, science, nutrition, fitness and micropigmentation make her an extremely well-rounded instructor and mentor. Heather is currently a national medical aesthetic and laser trainer for MRP Lasers and travels teaching top plastic surgeons and dermatology practices. Heather is a member of The America Med Spa Association AmSpa, The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and The Association of Aesthetic Laser Professionals (AALP) Heather has been married for twenty-three years and is a twin mom and the mother of three boys. She enjoys traveling, hiking, taking her family boating and watching her sons' sporting events. She is happy to talk to and help anyone who is passionate and wants to know more about the aesthetic industry!
