Heather Hunt, Owner of Renew Salon & Skin Spa, M.D, and Advanced Esthetic Seminars, ltd, is an internationally trained Image & Wellness Consultant. "I look at the internal and external factors that effect skin and offer a truly holistic approach to healthy looking skin and hair", says Heather. A pioneer in Microdermabrasion, she has been a skin care professional since 2001, when she worked for the company that invented and sought FDA clearance for the first medical microdermabrasion machines in the United States. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Cincinnati College of Allied Health Sciences, with post graduate experience in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. She graduated in the top of her class and is an elected member of the Kappa Omicron Nu, Honors Society. Heather is also a member of the National Association of Professional & Executive Women and has received the honor of Woman of the Year in her industry by NAPEW.  She is a Licensed Medical Esthetician (Skin Care Specialist) working in collaboration with several medical practices including, The Center for Advanced Medicine and Medical Laser & Cosmetic Institute. Ms. Hunt performs clinical skin care such as herbal/chemical peels, microdermabrasion, ultrasonic facials and photo rejuvenation. Heather worked while attendig collage and is proud to be a practicing member of the Ohio State Barbing Board, since 1991, specializing in precision cuts and color for men and women. The Barbering Board  has a long history for upholding the safety standards for the public regarding barbering services. She is president and instructor of  Advanced Aesthetic Seminars, ltd, a post graduate continuing education provider, that offers Ohio State Board Approved Continuing Education Certificates to Licensed Professionals in Advanced Clinical Skincare. Heathers background includes medical aesthetic equipment sales, as a District Manager for Aesthetic Lasers Inc., in which she certified and trained physicians, estheticians and nurses in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana in medical skin care techniques. A Certified Master Makeup Artist by two time Grammy winning celebrity makeup artist Keven Bennett, by Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, allows her to perform makeup for special occasions, print and television appearances.  Heather's background also includes: Modeling for print and television, AFFA Certified Aerobics Instructor, Miss USA Beauty Pageant Finalist, and PADI Certified Scuba Diver. She is also a published writer of too many health and wellness articles to mention, as well as a featured guest on the 96.5 FM radio show "Health Call" with Dr. Jim & Ronnie.    As the field of non-surgical skincare continues to change, Heather stays on the cutting edge by furthering her education and attending industry conventions and continuing education.  She donates to the SPCA and Butler County Child Court Advocates Parachute.
